An Arrangement from the Farmer’s Market
Most Saturday mornings Byrdie, Woods and I head over to the SFC Farmer’s Market for fresh eggs, organic veggies, and a popsicle (or 2). While Brad is the chef in our house, I am the shopper. And I shop for beauty, not for taste. I see locally grown vegetables the same way I see flowers –some are amazingly beautiful while others can simply be passed by.

An Artfully Delivered Oyster Roast
This week we were all scheming on oysters (after all, they are in season, being that January is a month with the letter “r” in it) and naturally I thought of my friend and well-known Savannah based artist Katherine Sandoz. You see, every year she and her family host a big annual oyster roast on New Year’s Eve at their little farm in Vernonburg. In a word it is magical.
