The next two weeks are a fiesta of bright delicious beauty –inspired by tomatillos. We introduce you to one of my favorite chefs, Pati Jinich, through the eyes and words of Andrea Goto. Pati shares a tomatillo salad recipe from her new book, Pati’s Mexican Table, that’s perfect for a cool down lunch during the hot summer months. Videographer, Eliza Barrera worked with floral designer Ashley Bailey to create a stunning video tutorial on making a simple festive bouquet –that doesn’t look simple at all. Katherine Sandoz shares her artful spin on the growing tomatillo. And finally, we’ll come full circle when I share a step by step process for making the perfect Salsa Verde…taught to me by Pati Jinich nearly four years ago when she was a guest on a show I was Culinary Producing.
