A last minute gift of smooth skin and wide eyes is only a few ingredients away. If you’re making it for a friend, do yourself a favor and double the recipe and give a gift to yourself.
Grapefruit and Rosemary Salt Scrub
makes about 1 ½ cups
Ingredients:
1 cup kosher salt
zest of 1 grapefruit
2 teaspoons fresh rosemary, finely minced
½ cup pure organic almond oil
a few drops grapefruit essential oil (optional)
Directions:
In a small mixing bowl, stir together all the ingredients. Pour into a sterilized jar with a tight fitting lid. (I sterilize mine by running through the dishwasher.)
To use: Stir mixture and apply to a clean body in the shower. Rinse and pat dry with a towel.
Note: Scrub will keep in an air-tight container at room-temperature for 4 months.
