It was just yesterday that the weather was still warm enough to go sleeveless when we picked the just ripened pears from the trees at Temples Farm. Warm is actually an understatement, it was downright hot! And, with a blink of an eye, the weather changed and the pears we picked were a little past ripe as they sat in the wooden bowl waiting to inform a recipe or two or four. So they did…and we did.
We invite you to join us as the shape of a single pear nestled in a hand carved wooden bowl, deep in a pocket, or cradled in our arms inspires our lives and our palates in the days to come. You may even spot the golden pear.
